This is a 2005 picture. Look at my picture below. Am i right saying I look younger now. It's my own assessment. What do you think?

(Emil & Fe)
The picture was taken in 1996 at SM North Edsa. Time flies fast it was almost a decade ago. Don't know, but we look younger now than before. Maybe because we're no longer working in an stressful environment. Just maybe .... However, we are grateful of the work we have. It was a blessing God has given to us and has enriched our lives together.

Anyway, its christmas time that is why medyo formative ako (he he he tama ba ang english ko). Although, I could wear a better one, a costume for the season, but eto lang muna. kunkundit la'ng.

Christmas Party in Los Angeles
On December 10, I attended an early christmas party of former Philnabankers. 90 % of those in attendance were former officemates at the Internal Audit Group. Those who attended though comprised around 30 % of the whole former auditors who are now residing in Los Angeles county. For seven hours, we kind of reminiscing PNB days and our fulfilled american dreams. As always the case, food abounds in every party or gathering here in the US. The Filipino heritage in us, we bring home foods (we call it "to go foods") not consumed in the party. In that way, no foods were wasted. Moreover, for all of us we will certainly have food in the next meal (libre pa). The party was happy and the conversations were moderately lively. Our hosts, the Jasa family were likewise gracious and very accommodating. Everyone was put at ease and comfortable. Those that sang songs were lavishly appreciated and acknowledged. By the way, the Jasas are personal friends and were instrumental in my fruitful & blessed US life. I am forever grateful for their love and concerns. I thank God with joy when I remember them and include them in my prayers of adoration to God(Phil 1:3-4).

Visiting Friends

Friends of yesteryears circa 1970's, Manong Joe and Cora Patag now in San Fernando Valley. Lead a baptist church in downtown LA. I may not have seen them again if not for Arnel because his visitors (his ninang and ninong are good friends of the patags) Twas good to see these folks who I have not seen for more than 25 years. A re-union of sorts remembering the short days we were able to talk together while we were yet in Manila.

Do I look like one of them. Though I come from a different culture we share the same creation that was made by God.

Three pictures could not be rotated as these were originally taken. The photographer must have clicked the camera while he was falling down.
Lovely people of Bethesda, India. It was a day of refreshing mingling with one another students and teachers alike.
